Our play mats are highly water resistant, which means accidental spillages can be cleaned up with ease. They are also ideal for water play fun, just be sure to dry off any liquid on the surface thoroughly and don’t leave them outside in the elements.
While wipeable, our play mats are not completely stain proof. We would recommend keeping heavy stainers off the surface altogether - we would hate you to be left with any long lasting stains. This includes vivid foods such as berries and tomato foods
Sorry to hear you have a stain on your play mat, we hate it when accidents happens! But try not to worry. We have plenty of tried and tested tips which should help. If you have already tried washing up liquid, try our stain-busting mixture here.
Our play mats are designed to be soft for ultimate comfort, but that means the soft surface needs to be taken care of. Vacuum wheels, including handheld and robotic vacuums are surprisingly heavy and can be rough too.
If your play mat has just a slight lip at the end, the best way to finally convince that part of the memory foam to lie flat is to reroll tightly with your preferred design on the outside. Pop back in its box and leave at least overnight.
Our thick memory foam is designed to support weight, so short term pressure idents are to be expected, especially when your mat is brand new. Knees and elbows are surprisingly high pressure! Furniture should however be kept off the mat however.
Our magic memory foam mats means they provide support even on hard wood flooring, while the weighty design means they stay stable on carpeted or slippy tiled floors. That said, we cannot speak for all flooring types.

Most customers use Totter + Tumble play mats in place of rugs in the home and therefore leave them out most of the time, but you can of course roll away for storage if required. We’d recommend keeping the box (or half of it) for easy storage.
