While wipeable, our play mats are not completely stain proof. We would recommend keeping heavy stainers off the surface altogether - we would hate you to be left with any long lasting stains. This includes vivid foods such as berries and tomato based sauces, as well as ‘washable’ paints and pens, which are machine washable, but not wipeable. Food colourings, biro pens, nail varnish (and remover) are also culprits of stubborn staining.
